Obituary - William Richison Jr
Billy Junior Richison, son of the late William Sisro and Julie Virgie (nee
Snow) Richison, was born July 3, 1937 and departed this life on March 23,
2018 at LaSalle General Hospital, Jena, LA at the age of 80yrs, 8mo & 23
days.
He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather. He was always working to
provide for his family.
He was very proud of his military service in the US Navy.
On November 20, 1954 he was united in marriage to Georgia Jean Hadley and to
this union 2 children were born. They divorced in 1964.
On March 28, 1968, he married Dorothy Jean (nee Wooster) Johnson in Rolla,
MO. She preceded him in death, September 29, 2017.
In 2011, he & Dorothy moved to Jena, LA with Charlie and Chiquita Thompson,
where they resided til their passing.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Edna
Fay Nelson and Ruby Jean Blake; 1 brother, Bobby Ray; 2 step-daughters,
Sharon Kay (nee Wooster) Lirette & Theresa Ann Johnson; and 1 granddaughter,
Sara Sue Johnson.
He leaves to mourn his passing include 1 daughter, Chiquita Thompson
(Charlie) of Jena, LA, 1 son, Billy Troy Richison (Linda) of Lafayette, LA,
1 son, Kenneth Sterling Johnson (Debi) of MO, 1 daughter, Brenda Parsons of
MO; 2 sisters, Mary Emogene Gann of WA and Anna Rose Miller of ID; 1
brother, Gary Dale of Springfield, MO; grandchildren, great grandchildren,
great-great grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews and a host of other
relatives and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Missouri.
