Deceased Name: VIRGINIA (GINNY) SCOTT
Age 82, of Santa Fe, joined her beloved husband, Robert Scott on Monday,
August 29th in Albuquerque following a brief illness.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Noreen and Howard Curfman; brother,
Donald Curfman; and her beloved husband, Robert Scott.
She attended St. Anthony's elementary school and graduated from St. Mary's
Academy of Indianapolis.
Virginia was a devoted mother, loving wife, and commiserate homemaker.
During early years of her marriage, Virginia worked to support her husband
through medical school. She worked for several years at St. Vincent's gift
shop for St. Vincent auxiliary. She was a member of Santa Maria de la Paz
Parrish in Santa Fe. She was a member and past president of Zanta, and PEO
Sorority. Docent Palace of the Governors.
Virginia enjoyed golf, gourmet cooking, decorating, gardening and the arts.
She was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine Scott of Albuquerque; son, Thomas
Scott of Highland Park, CO; granddaughters: Sadie McCracken of Barker, NY,
Ashley Scott of Arvada, CO; grandson, Armando Torres of Albuquerque
great-granddaughters: Lietta Wells McCracken, and Sicbhan McCracken of
Barker, NY, Aurelia Kliss of Zainesville, OH; great-grandson, Andrew Torres
of Albuquerque; and her brother, Richard Curfman of Indianapolis, IN.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2005 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday,
September 2nd at 10 a.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Interment will
follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
