regarding the 1830 federal census:  We have searched every conceivable way for Mary - in Washington Co, VA, Washington Co, IN and Martin Co, IN.  We find a Mary Ashen in Washington Co, IN that closely matches children of the approximate age and amount, but we cannot be sure this is her.
