3) On 20 Aug 1816, John Fleenor was named guardian of Christiana,
Elizabeth, Susannah, John, Isaac, Abraham, James, Nancy V and Maryann
Andis, children of Matthias Andis, deceased. Bond $2000, sureties John
Shutters and Abraham Gobble.
4) We have an 1816 unknown
citation from miscellaneous court records - found in a family file
at the Washington Co, VA Historical Society.
5) On 20 Jun 1820, Peter Minnick was named guardian of Isaac, Abraham,
James, Nancy and Mary Andis, orphans of Matthias Andis, deceased. Bond
$500 surety Thomas Fulkerson.
6) We have various documents regarding land transactions by Matthias
and Susanna and their heirs. They include purchase, sale and distribution
of land in Washington Co, VA. These are very important documents to our
research, as they conclusively tie Matthias & Susanna and their
children together.
