Pension claim no. 327216 of Julia A Bowman, mother of Pleasant Bowman deceased late of Co K 49th Ind Inf vol.

Personally came before me a notary public in and for the aforesaid county and state William P Hobbs a citizen of Raglesville in the county of Daviess and state of Indiana well known to me to be reputable and entitles to credit, and who being duly sworn, declares in relation to the aforesaid case as follows:

That he is a regular practicing physician of 25 years standing and has given medical advice and treatment to William H Bowman as follows:

1st treated him Nov 1st 1875 and occasionally until 3rd of August 1881. The last treatment by me was from July 31 to Aug 3 1881 when he had an attack of Cerebro Spinal Meningitis.

In this instance I was in consultation with Dr Thomas(?) who at that time was his family physician he resided nearer Mr Bowmans. __ __ ___ I became acquainted with him has been suffering from general ability (disability?) much of the time

I have no interest in the prosecution of this claim.
