Miscellaneous Information

1) Williamson Carter served in the Civil War.  He was in Company A of the 25th Regiment of the Virginia Cavalry.  He enlisted 15 Jun 1864, and fought for the Confederacy (view battle history of 25th Regiment). He was AWOL on 04 Sep 1864, and paroled 04 May 1865. He received distinguished service status (view Williamson's muster rolls).

2) We have a copy of the marriage record and wedding notice of Eleanor and Williamson.
