Pension claim no. 327216 of Julia A Bowman, mother of Pleasant Bowman
Personally came before me a notary public in and for the
aforesaid county and state Barton Sears a citizen of Elnora Township in
the county of Daviess and state of Indiana well known to me to be
reputable and entitles to credit, and who being duly sworn, declares in
relation to the aforesaid case as follows:
That he is a regular practicing physician of 32 years
standing and has given medical advice and treatment to William H Bowman as
follows:
he treated him for lumbago in 1864 in Sept, Oct and Nov
in 1866, in July, Aug and Sept and again in 1868, and that he does not
have the means of knowing his exact condition since he ceased to treat
him, but that he was very badly afflicted at the time of treatment. During
those years he was scarcely able to work any. |
