Wilma Sharon, 90, died Saturday in Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Banquo, to the late Frank Stephens and Minnie Botkin. She married Floyd Sharon on April 19, 1935. He preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 1977.

She worked as a desk clerk at RCA (Thompson Consumer Electronics), for more than 30 years, retiring in 1982. She was an active member of the First Christian Church, the RCA Retirees Club, a Red Cross Volunteer and was also active in the Girl Scouts of America & Brownies.

Survivors include Children, Stephen M. (Jane), Jane Ann (William) Boxell, Barbara Jean (Jose) Martinez, Sierra Vista, AZ; sister-in-law, Ruth Raabe; nephew, Neil Raabe; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sister, Charlene Stephens.

Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road with the Rev. Rodger Moore Officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park.
