Vincent H. Stulken, 85, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, May 28, 1994, in Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, after a long illness.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, with military rites. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
Survivors include a son, Gary of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Marie Holub of
Prairieburg; and a brother, Clarence of Monticello.
Also surviving are a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
Vincent was born Dec. 17, 1908, in Langworthy, the son of Henry and Mary
Connolly Stulken, and married Wilma M. Wagoner on March 6, 1948, in Cedar
Rapids. She died in 1972. Vincent was a truck driver for the city of Cedar
Rapids for 27 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of Eagles Club, Moose
Club and American Legion Post 727. Vincent served in the Army Air Force
during World War II.
A memorial fund has been established.
