Mrs. John G. Street

Mrs. John G. Street, 38, former resident of this city, died in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Ind., Wednesday afternoon, following a two year illness.

She was born in Richland, Vinton county, Aug. 7, 1906, the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Davis Lewis.

In 1931 she married John G. Street, formerly employed at the Federal Reformatory. Later, he was transferred to Terre Haute.

Besides her husband and mother she is survived by a daughter, Mrs Betty Mohn, a grandson, one sister, Doris at home, three brothers, Mervin, Orval and Leonard Lewis, all of this city. Her father, Thomas M. Lewis and a sister, Pearl Lewis Rowland, preceded her in death.

The body will be shipped here and service will be arranged by the Ware funeral home.

MRS. RUTH L. STREET

Mrs. Ruth L. Street, 38 years old, of 519 1/2 South Fifth Street, died at Union Hospital at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. She is survived by the husband, John; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Jean Mohn; three brothers, Mervin, Orval and Leonard, all of Chillicothe, Ohio; one sister, Doris Lewis, and the mother, Mrs. Margaret Lewis, of Chillicothe, Ohio, and one grandchild. The body was removed to the J. N. Hickman & Son Funeral Home and sent to Chillicothe at noon Thursday for burial.
