Betty Seabaugh

Betty Harris Seabaugh, 67, of Wappapello died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, at the Puxico Nursing Home in Puxico.

Mrs. Seabaugh was born Feb. 3, 1936, in Butler County. A homemaker, she was an active member of the Aerie Eagles Auxiliary 4066, where she served as treasurer for many years. She enjoyed making crafts and dolls.

In 1996, she married Sherman Seabaugh in Rector, Ark. He survives.

Other survivors include two stepdaughters, Sharon Faulkner of Jackson and Judy Cruzen; one stepson, Larry Harris; three sisters, Brenda Brent of Wappapello, Cynthia Jackson of Poplar Bluff and Lenetta Jones of McDougal, Ark.; five brothers, Keith Brent of Poplar Bluff, Joe Brent of Dellwood, Cal Brent of South St. Louis, Chet Brent of Ballwin and Jack Brent of Lake of the Ozarks; four stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, with an Eagles Auxiliary service at 7 p.m. at the Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Wappapello. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel in Wappapello with the Rev. James Schremp officiating. Burial will be in the Dexter City Cemetery.
