Brenda Chadwick, 58; service Thursday

Brenda Carol Rasnick Chadwick, 58, of Beaufort, died Friday, June 1, 2007, at Carteret General Hospital.

Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Beaufort. The Rev. C.O. Donald will officiate and the Rev. Marion Bell will deliver the eulogy.
She was born in Bristol , Tenn. , on Aug. 28, 1948, to Eugene and Edna Sheppard Rasnick. She married Deremius G. Chadwick on May 27, 1996, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church , Beaufort. Mrs. Chadwick was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant.

She is survived by her husband, Deremius G. Chadwick; two daughters, Sandy Casey of Lakeland, Fla., and Janet Buchanan of Morehead City; two sons, Gregory Brooks of Marion and Steven Buchanan of Hickory; two stepdaughters, Elizabeth Chilton of Mill Creek and Frankie Sides of Morehead City; four sisters, Joyce Dellenger of Winston-Salem, Faye Cresawn of Chicago, Ill., Debra Wiseman and Barbara Rasnick both of Marion; and nine grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. of Morehead City .
