Obituary - Don Rhanor
FOWLER -- Don A. Rhanor, 78, of Fowler, died at 9:17 a.m. Tuesday, June 29,
2010, at his residence.
Born May 16, 1932, in Freeland Park, he was the son of the late Charles M. and Mary Louise Highland Rhanor.
Mr. Rhanor served in the Army during the Korean War, from 1952 to 1954, and was a mechanic at the State Highway Garage for more than 15 years. He enjoyed "tinkering" with cars.
Surviving are a son, Kevin Michael Rhanor (wife: Linda) of Palmetto, Fla.; a brother, Lon Rhanor (wife: Peggy), and a sister, Linda Burman (husband: Jerry), both of Kentland.
Also surviving are a granddaughter, Randi; and a great-grandson, Johnny. He was preceded in death by one son, Jamie; a daughter, Angela Palmer; twin sisters and an infant son.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Windler Funeral Home, Fowler. Service there at 11 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, the Rev. Ron Elly officiating. Interment at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Raub. Memorial contributions may be made to Earl Park Church or Danville Veterans Hospital.
