Donald Ray Sexton, 46, of Alexandria passed away on July 19th after a brief battle with cancer. Don was the youngest child of Rev. Robert Lee and Louella Katherine Sexton, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his son Andrew Ian, who Don called the joy of his life; brothers Robert Jr., Tom and Hal; and sister Linda Lynch. Don was born in Alexandria and spent his growing up years in Grant Parish. He graduated from Grant High School in 1979. For the last years of his life Don worked with brother Tom and adopted family member Fay Cupples at Rivertown Flea Market in Alexandria. While running the flea market Don made many friends from all different social strata of our community. He accepted each person for who and what they were. Don loved music, movies, technology, conversation and his dog, "Terra". Don will be greatly missed.
