Death Claims Mr. Richardson

Ernest J. Richardson, 43, 472 W. Mechanic St. died at 3:30 p.m. sunday at Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. He had been ill since July.

Mr. Richardson was a lifelong Shelbyville resident and a veteran of the Korean War. He had been employed as a truck driver by an Indianapolis company.

He was born here on Dec. 3, 1924, the son of Ernest and Ellen (Pike) Richardson. On Oct. 29, 1955, he was married to Janet Andis, who survives at home.

Other survivors are six children, Jennie, Dennis, Douglas, Charles, Ray and Billy Richardson all at home, and one brother, Clarence Richardson, R. R. 3, Brandywine Township.

Services will be at the Sleeth Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, with Rev. A. M. Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:00 p.m., Tuesday.
