Freddie Ann McClintick

A memorial service for Freddie Ann McClintick, 66, will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, at Lake Washington United Methodist Church, 7525 132nd Ave. NE, in Kirkland. Interment will be held at Kirkland City Cemetery. Mrs. McClintick, a resident of Kirkland, died Tuesday, March 8, at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland.

Born Aug. 6, 1927, in Burlington to Fred and Effie Gilpin Huelsdonk, Mrs. McClintick graduated from Sedro Woolley High School in 1945. She married Russell L. McClintick of Kirkland on June 26, 1948. She had resided in Kirkland since 1952.

When her children were young she volunteered with the Rose Hill PTA, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Lake Washington Methodist Church youth groups and the Lake Washington preschool. She then worked for Seafirst Bank and retired after 15 years in 1983.

Since retiring she has been active in community affairs including Evergreen Hospital Auxiliary, the American Cancer Society Bellevue Branch, and the Election Board.

According to her family, she will be remembered for her loving and giving nature.

Her survivors include Russell McClintick of Kirkland, son and daughter-in-law Russell Jr. and Pat McClintick of Kirkland, daughters and sons-in-law Patti and Marv Hiebert of Redmond and Mary and Larry Menard of Richland, four grandchildren, Crysta Simms, Anna Russell, (unreadable) and Jon McClintick.

The family suggests remembrances in Mrs. McClintick's name may be made to Evergreen Hospice Foundation, 12822 N.E. 128th Lane, Kirkland, WA 98034.
