Gary Kinser

Mr. Gary Russell Kinser, 56, of Findlay, passed away at Blanchard Valley Hospital April 17, 2010 surrounded by his immediate family.

Mr. Kinser was born in Findlay, Ohio on a snowy Thanksgiving Day November 26, 1953 to Nancy and Jack R. Kinser.
He is survived by his wife Nancy K. Kinser; his mother Nancy Hollingsworth of Bloomdale, Ohio; his children John Kinser of Findlay, Ohio; Steve (Shawna) Lamb, Temperance, Mich.; and Shelly (Charles) Henzler, of Mount Blanchard; two brothers, Jack (Cindy) Kinser, of Republic, Ohio; Ron (Dorothy) Kinser, of Findlay, Ohio.

He is also survived by his grandchildren that he loved so much, Brian and Heather August; Jackson and Chloe Lamb; Jesse and Chelsy Henzler; his aunt Betty Andis and two nephews and five nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Jeffery and Lynn E.; a sister, Sheila and a dear favorite uncle, Earl Andis and a stepfather, Henry Hollingworth.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps (1971 to 1977) as a crew chief on a helicopter involving Navy skydivers.
Gary was employed with General Dynamics in many jobs including certified tank driver and inspector.
He took great pride in his home and also collecting antiques and art glass for many years.
He will be missed by all he loved and all who loved him, especially his wife Nancy, that he loved so much.

Gary's family will receive friends at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home Tuesday, April 20, 2010, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Brewster officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, west of Arcadia, with military rites by the Hancock Veterans Memorial Squad.

Memorial contributions may be made in Gary's honor to H.O.P.E. Clinic in Upper Sandusky.
