Obituary - Lisa Marie (Brewer) Jones

BRISTOL, Va. –
Our precious Lisa went home on Monday, July 9, 2007, at 7:30 a.m. in the morning to her Heavenly Father. Such a rejoicing in heaven there had to be. Lisa was loved by all who knew her. Lisa was a devoted daughter to James and Ora Brewer. Lisa was a loving wife to Bobby, dedicated mother to Bridget, Nathan, Chris, Adam and Seth and special grandmother to Nicholas.
She graduated from John S. Battle High and Virginia Highlands Community with a degree in business. Lisa ran a day care for many years, where she influenced many children. Lisa was owner of Virginia Academy of Hair Styling for many years until her sickness when she sold her business. She attended and was a faithful and active member of Fellowship Chapel being involved with children and adults alike. Lisa accredited her great life to her church family, Crack Pot Ministries, a Christian-based ministry that Lisa felt honored to serve in for her Lord and Savior for the last five years along with her cherished friend, Penny Mayne. Lisa was a caretaker for the Lord. If you needed anything, she was there. If you were sick, hungry, lonely, grieving or just needed a little extra hug, she was there. Lisa worked at the Haven of Rest for a spell. The friends that she had there cannot be counted. Lisa had many Bible studies. They were her passion as were the friends she met along the way.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Jones. Also surviving: daughter,
Bridget Lail; sons, Nathan Payne and special friend Rebecca Trimmer, Chris

"The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice
over thee with Joy; he will rest in love, he will rejoice over thee with
singing." – Zephaniah 3:17
"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before
you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore chooses life, that both thou
and thy seed may live:
That thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that you mayest obey his voice, and
that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy
days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto thy Fathers,
to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." – Deuteronomy 30:19-20
