LOLA E. MANESS

The funeral for Lola E. Maness, 92, of Enid, will be noon Wednesday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Rev. Scott Shields will officiate. Burial will be in Cashion Cemetery, Cashion. Arrangements are by Hen-ninger-Allen Funeral Home. The casket will not be open at the church.

She was born Feb. 15, 1914, in Cashion to Edward Lewis and Maude Elizabeth Bowhey Nulick and died Sunday, March 5, 2006, at Greenbrier Nursing Home.

She graduated from Webb City High School. She married Marshall Maness April 13, 1937, at Newkirk. They made their home in Enid in 1945. In 1969, she earned her LPN license and worked at St. Mary?s Hospital.

She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, American Business Womens Association, and was a Garfield County voter precinct volunteer.

Surviving are one daughter, Rosemary Hamilton of Cleveland; three sons, Harvey and Lynn, both of Enid, and Cecil of Trafalger, Ind; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church.
