Lora Kate Large Wilson, 91, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Wilson was born Dec. 1, 1912, in Washington County, Va., a daughter of the late Walter and Lucy Woods Large, and had made her home in Bristol all of her life. She was a retired cook at Euclid Avenue Holiday Inn and a member of the Open Door Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Andis and Francis Trivett and husband, Bobby; three sons, Robert Wilson, Earl Wilson and Edward Wilson and wife, Pat; two brothers, Forest Large and Willie Large; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 7, 2004, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastors Mike Leonard and Thomas Thacker officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tim Jennings, Jim Childress, Randall Terry, Rick Trivett, Mike Delp, Gary Delp and Scotty Wilson.
