Obituary - Lawrence Opie Pulley
FORMER TIPTON RESIDENT DIES
TIPTON (Special)--Funeral services for Lawrence Opie Pulley, 65, former Tipton resident who died Monday in Independence, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at an Independence funeral home. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Cemetery there.
Mr. Pulley was born near Tipton June 19, 1899, the son of the late Judge A. L. and Lela Powell Pulley.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dorothy L. Pulley of the home in Independence; one daughter, Mrs. Forrest E. Herold, Miami, Fla.; one son, Donald F. Pulley, Miami, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. James R. Bowen and Mrs. Elmer R. Fairchild, both of Independence; two sisters, Mrs. E. R. (Dick) Hudson and Mrs. L. W. (Mike) Billingsley, both of Tipton; and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Pulley lived in the Tipton area until he moved to Independence 19 years ago.
