Sara Jane Lester, 75, of Beech Grove, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008.

She was born December 16, 1932, to Harry and Corilla Andis Seneff, of Odon. Her Mother passed when she was seven years of age. Her father then married Lavern Obrien and she raised the four children. She was a wonderful step-mother.

Sara married Ralph O. Lester, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Ivan Lex Seneff, Norman Rex Seneff and Mary Angeline Seneff Porter.

She was a homemaker, dedicating her life to the well being of her family. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years.

Sara is survived by two daughters, Polly J. and Rebecca A. Lester; friend, George McCowan; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are private and entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 438 S. Emerson Ave., Greenwood, IN 46163.
