Bernard W. Langlotz 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, March 17, 2006.

He was born February 10, 1925 in Indianapolis to Arthur and Minnie (Koepke) Langlotz, who preceded him in death.

Bernard served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1942 until 1945. He worked as a Bench Jeweler for Herff-Jones for 44 years, retiring in 1986. Bernard was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, American Legion Prospect Post, Masonic Lodge #714, Scottish Rite, and Murat Shrine.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22 at 12:00 noon at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

Bernard is survived by several nieces and nephews. His wife, Mary Louise Aichele Langlotz, preceded him in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
