Obituary - Betty Wayne (Sproles) Stewart

Betty Sproles Stewart, age 76, formerly of Benhams Road, Bristol Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007, in Franklin, Tenn.

She was a lifelong resident of Bristol and a daughter of the late Clifford C. and Bess Akers Sproles. She was the widow of Robert Malcolm "Bobby" Stewart and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Don Sproles and Bobby Sproles.

Mrs. Stewart was a retired employee of Belk and a member of King Memorial Presbyterian Church, PCA. 

Survivors include one daughter, Patty Stewart Wagner and husband Dennis L. of Franklin; one son, Wayne Stewart and wife Beverly of Bristol Virginia; three granddaughters, Nichole Stewart, Taylor Wagner and Ashley Wagner; one sister, Nancy Anderson of Inman, S.C.; two brothers, Ray Knox Sproles of Bristol Virginia and Lynn Sproles of Greensboro, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in the Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, with Pastor Daniel Foreman officiating. The family will receive friends in the Mausoleum Chapel from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
