Obituary - Brenda Louise (Gill) Lovern

ROANOKE - Brenda Louise Gill Lovern, 54, a native of Bristol, went to be with the Lord,Saturday, May 4, 2002, after a long battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sadie Gill; brother Fred Gill; and sister Frances Gill. She leaves behind a dedicated and loving husband Wayne H. Lovern; daughter Nancy D. Wilson; stepson Scott Brown; and grandson Derek G. Wilson, all of Roanoke; brothers Gene Gill of Bristol, Va., and Landon Gill of Roanoke; sisters Christine Slusher of Roanoke and Linda Horne and Peggy Denton, both of Bristol, Va.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2002, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Davon Huss will officiate. The family will receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
