Obituary - Carol (Engleking) Myers
Carol E. Myers, 90, resident of Bartlesville, died Monday evening at the
Jane Phillips Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday in the Virginia Avenue
Baptist Church with Pastor Wallace Thames officiating. Interment will be in
the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Carol Elizabeth Myers was born on December 1, 1919 at Bartlesville the
daughter of Roy Enos and Grace (Lucas) Engleking. She was raised at
Bartlesville and graduated from high school in 1936. She married Clayton
DeWayne Myers on September 7, 1937 at Newkirk, Oklahoma. She had worked as a
draftsperson for the Bureau of Mines. She was a member of the Virginia
Avenue Baptist Church.
Carol Elizabeth Myers is survived by her husband Clayton DeWayne Myers of
the home, two sons, Lonnie Wayne Myers of Morris, Oklahoma and Gary Dee
Myers of Carrollton, Texas, one sister Virginia Stilley of Colorado, four
grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
