	Charles Wildridge Dead.

Charles Wildridge, a veteran of the civil war and a native of Daviess
county, died rather suddenly December 29 at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
William Andis, who lives on a farm between Odon and Elnora. He had been
under treatment for heart disease. Mr. Wildridge was 80 years, 1? months,
	and 7 days old.

His wife died eighteen years ago and he is survived by the following
children: Mrs. Andis; Mrs. John Hart, of Bogard township; Green M.
Wildridge, of Washington; John Wildridge, of Illinois; Homer Wildridge, of
Indianapolis; and Mrs. Gertie Laughlin, of Pennsylvania. He also leaves a
sister, Mrs. Ann Fielder, of this city; and two brothers, Richard Wildridge
of Washington and Frank Wildridge of Indianapolis.

The deceased man was a son of the late Charles Wildridge, a gunsmith, of
this city. Honest in all his dealings, he was honored by all who lived in
close association with him and his departure marks the passing of one more
	of the county's sterling residents.
