Obituary - Donald Lee Murphy
NORMAN — Donald L. Murphy, 68, of Norman, died 2 p.m. Sunday at Dunn
Memorial Hospital in Bedford.
Born Feb. 3, 1939, he was the son of Berlin and Cleta (Blackwell) Murphy.
He was retired from Central Foundry.
Survivors include his mother, Cleta Murphy of Norman; his wife, Tammy
Murphy; one son, Steve Stickles and Phyllis of Bedford; five daughters, Pam
Knight and Mike of Springville, Cheryl Hubbard and Greg of Norman, Ashley
Murphy of Heltonville, Chelsea Murphy of Bedford and Jennifer Mitchell of
Heltonville; two sisters, Carol Ann Terrill of Nashville and Connie Sue Howe
and Hershel of Bedford; eight grandchildren, Clint Stickles, Logan Stickles,
Christa Fulkerson, Allen Knight, Michael Knight, Carra Harbstreit, Sandra
Louden and Melissa Flynn; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews,
aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Everett and
Dertha Blackwell.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Jones Funeral Home in Heltonville with
Pastor James Stevens officiating. Burial will be at Gilgal Cemetery.
