He was a son of the late Troy Lee Cresawn and Mildred Phillips Cresawn.

 Mr. Cresawn was a faithful member of the North Cove Church of God, where he served as an assistant usher when needed. Upon his retirement from Coats America, Eddie enjoyed walking his dog, "Pud," gardening, mowing and swimming with his niece, Kaitlin; but Eddie enjoyed the fellowship of family and friends most of all.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary McClain Cresawn, of the home; step-son, Jeffery Webb and wife, Nikki, of Spruce Pine; sister, Carolyn Gunter and husband, Danny, of Marion; two grandchildren, Jessie and Gracie Webb; niece, Julie Woodard; nephew, Scott Smith; two great-nieces, Keisha and Kaitlin; and great-nephew, Kyle.

Funeral:McCall Memorial Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home, Marion, with the Revs. Richard Merritt and Howard Riddle officiating.
Burial will follow at the North Cove Baptist Church Cemetery.
