WHELAN--Elisabeth V. (Liz), on August 30, 2013 after a long illness.

Child of the 1960's Village, she loved horseback riding and sculpting, and was an artist of immense talent. She will be missed by her mother Roberta, her life partner Cid, sisters Wendy and Jane, brother-in-law Jim, niece Kathleen, step-mother Margaret, and many friends.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
