Elizabeth Ann Cox, age 64, of Ozark, passed away Friday, August 1, 2003 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born January 29, 1939 in Flandreau, South Dakota, the daughter of Ove and Alma (Sorensen) Stenberg. Her life was filled with love for her family and friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ozark, where she led Bible studies and taught Sunday School. She was devoted to mission work and enjoyed mission trips. Elizabeth loved music and shared that by teaching music to others.

Survivors include four daughters, Deborah Brown, Little Rock, Arkansas, Patricia McMullen and her husband Steven, Galena, Jeanne Fuller and her husband Ed, Ozark, and Sandy Rhoades and her husband Richard, Seymour; thirteen grandchildren, Heath, LeeAnn, Ellyn, Dane, Molly, Cole, Ryan, Sarah, Stephen, John Paul, Hannah, Matthew and Joseph; three great-grandchildren, Lauren, Alexis and Caleb; seven stepchildren; step grandchildren; four brothers, Virgil Stenberg and his wife Norma, Bob Stenberg and his wife Arlene, David Stenberg and his wife Audrey, all of South Dakota, and Bennett Stenberg and his wife Doris, Kentucky; a sister, Renie Lellelid, Minnesota; nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, F.M. Cox; a brother, DeVere Stenberg; a brother-in-law, Leo Lellelid; and her parents. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, at First Baptist Church of Ozark, with Rev. Troy Rhoden and Rev. Jim Jeffries officiating. Burial will follow in Hopedale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Memorial contributions may be made to World Missionary Press, Inc., in care of the funeral home.
