Emma Faye Rippeto, 74, Jefferson City, died Saturday at Capital Region Medical Center-Southwest (Jefferson City). She was born Oct. 7, 1922, in Etterville, a daughter of Lonnie and Ada Berry Bell.

She attended Mt. Pleasant School and was a graduate of Barnett High School. She was a member of First Christian Church, Tipton, and of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She worked with the Missouri Department of Revenue for 25 years, retiring in 1989.

Survivors include: two sons, Stephen L. Finley and Kimberly C. Rippeto, both of Jefferson City; two sisters, Winnie Hutchison, Excelsior, and Ann Braden, Jefferson City; and three grandchildren. One son, Benjamin Waylon Finley II, died in 1952.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Spring Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Buescher Memorial Home. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
