Gerald passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.
He has joined his loving wife, Muriel, who died in March of this year. They
were long time residents of San Luis Obispo and had made many good friends.
Gerald was born in Mississippi in May 1922.
He spent his youth in Morro Bay and attended San Luis Obispo High School,
graduating with the Class of 1940.
He married Muriel Burriss, his high school sweetheart, in 1948.
They had a wonderful marriage of 61 years.
He served honorably in the U. S. Navy during the War.
He worked for Harmony Valley Creamery and Foremost dairy before he retired.
Gerald is survived by his brother-in-law, Bill Burriss.
At his request, no service will be held.
