Obituary - Helen J (Wiesmann) Morrow
Helen J. (Wiesmann) Morrow, 84, of Wichita Falls, went home to be with
the Lord on July 26, 2009.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2009,
at the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls with the Rev.
Charles Bartlett, officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial
Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
She was born December 27, 1924, in Dundee, Texas, but lived most of her life
in Wichita Falls. She worked many years at Westex and Howmet in Wichita
Falls. She was a long time member of Sacred Heart Church, the VFW and
volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul for many years. She was loved by her
family and many friends and will be missed by all that knew her. The angels
are singing and rejoicing her presence today.
She was preceded in death by her father, August Wiesmann; mother, Lena
Gremminger Wiesmann; husband, Oscar Morrow; sisters, Clara Davenport, Martha
Ann Marcus, and Flo Davenport; brothers, Raymond and Herman Wiesmann;
son-in-law, Forrest Wise; and grandson, Robert Vick.
Survivors include her sister, Edna Jennings of Wichita Falls; daughters,
Darlene Wise of Burkburnett, and Shirley Vick and husband, Robert of Wylie,
Texas; son, Don Wayne Morrow and wife, Cindy of Wichita Falls; fifteen
grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; also, many nieces, nephews
and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009,
at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
