Deceased Name: Jack L. Ford
Jack L. Ford passed away at a local Santa Maria hospital on January 16,
2006, at the age of 90. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to Leo and Anna
(Murry) Ford on November 6, 1915.
Jack and his wife Dorothy moved to Inglewood, California in 1939 where Jack
worked as a grocery manager. Jack soon became the owner and manager of his
own market and retired from the retail field after 30 years of service. In
1977 Jack and Dorothy relocated to Santa Maria, California.
Jack is survived by his twin sister, Lorain Ford. He was preceded in death
by his wife Dorothy (Bowers) Ford in October of 1996.
A visitation will be held at the Magner-Maloney Funeral Home on Thursday,
January 19, 2006 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. On Friday, January 20, 2006
at 10:00 a.m. there will be a graveside service at the Santa Maria Cemetery
with Rev. Tom Cook of St. Mary of the Assumption Church presiding.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations for Mass (to be said
in JackÞs name) are made at your local church.
