Obituary - Joshua Heath Bush
Pvt. Joshua Bush, 21, of Appalachia, went to be with his Savior on 
	Thursday (Nov. 17, 2005) at Wellmont Lonesome Pine Hospital, Big Stone Gap.
	He was currently serving in the United States Army, at home on leave and 
	temporary recruiting duty. He had completed Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, 
	SC in August, 2005 and had graduated Wheel Vehicle Mechanic School at Ft. 
	Jackson, SC in November 2005. He was to be stationed at Fort Drum, NY in 
	December.
	He graduated from Appalachia High School in 2002. He was of the Baptist 
	faith. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Elmer Bush and 
	an uncle, Jerry Bush.
	Survivors include his mother, Carol Bush of Appalachia; his sister, Whitney 
	Bush of the home; maternal grandmother, Ruth Bush of Big Stone Gap; aunts 
	and uncles, Sandy Dysart and Bobby Dorton of Appalachia; Larry and Roseanne 
	Bush of Big Stone Gap; special cousin, William Dysart of London, Ky.; 
	several cousins and many friends.
	Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Appalachia 
	First Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Brewer officiating.
	Military graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Powell 
	Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Norton V.F.W. post #4301.
	Pallbearers were Brian Miller, Henry Fritz, Matt Dysart, William Dysart, 
	Robert Anderson, Jim Fillmore. Honorary pallbearers were Chuck Jessee and 
	Jerry Rutherford.
	Roy A. Green Funeral Home, Appalachia, was in charge of arrangements.
