Lestol Roy Booher BRISTOL, Va. Funeral services for Lestol Roy Booher will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at 1 p.m. at the Shakesville Church of Christ with Rev. John Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Steve Booher, Jack Booher, Ronnie Booher, Earl Booher, Don Casaday, J.R. Casaday, Allen Casaday and T.J. Sells. Honorary pallbearers include: Lynn Helbert, Steve Casaday, Greg Slagle, Keith Slagle and men of the Shakesville Church of Christ. Military honors will be presented by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shakesville Church of Christ Building Fund, 2662 Kingsmill Pike, Bristol, VA 24201. Lestol Roy Booher, age 85, of Bristol, VA passed away on January 23, 2010 at the VA Medical Center. He was born in Washington County, VA a son to the late Arthur and Ida Sarah Ketron Booher. Mr. Booher was a retired farmer and a member of Shakesville Church of Christ where he served as a deacon. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II and was a loving husband and wonderful father. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers – Burley Booher, Armond Booher, W.C. Booher, Bud Barker, Lee Barker, and Thurman Barker, and sisters – Hazel Phillips, Inez Widener, Nolita Campbell, and Dolphine Stewart
 
Survivors include: Wife of 63 years – LaWanda Ruth Garrett Booher Son – Jerry W. Booher and fiance’ Penny Mitchell Sister – Gaynor Harris of Granite City, Illinois Brother – Ralph Barker of Illinois Several nieces and nephews
