Obituary - Lois Imogene (Canady) Kent

Lois C. Kent, 81, of Lyons, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Lyons Health and Living Center. Born September 28, 1925 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Edward and Ida (Humerickhouse) Canady.

She retired from Greene County General Hospital in 1961 as the Head Dietician. She was a member of the Lyons American Legion Auxiliary #479 and the Worthington VFW.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sylvia Cunningham and her companion Michael Oakley of Lyons; one son, Curtis E. Teague of Terrell, Texas; three granddaughters, Rita and her husband Philip Langhans of Lyons, Diana Morrow of Linton, and Dawn R. Teague of Terrell, Texas; her great grandchildren, Jaime L. and Adam J. Langhans of Lyons and Zeke T. Morrow of Linton; one stepson, Ned W. and his wife Glenda Kent of Marco; and a nephew, Albert and his wife Linda Canady of Midland.

She was preceded in death by her Husband George D. Kent, parents, 2 Brothers, 1 Sister, a granddaughter, Lisa Joe Pigg, and aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday January 30, 2007 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in LYONS, With Rev. Don Reed officiating. Burial will be in Marco cemetery.
