	Deceased Name: Maurice H. Hanson
	A private service was held for Maurice H. Hanson, who died Oct. 17, 1998, at 
	age 91. 
	 
	Mr. Hanson was born Feb. 12, 1907, in Napavine, Wash., and moved to Portland 
	in 1926. He was a driver for Yellow and Broadway cab companies for many 
	years and owned Helens Grocery in Bonny Slope for 15 years before retiring 
	in 1968. He also had been a Boy Scout leader and a member of the Washington 
	County Sheriffs Reserve. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in 
	Hillsboro. In 1931, he married Helen Howard; she died in 1973. He married 
	Mildred Freeman in 1975. 
	 
	Survivors include his wife; daughter, Dorothy Halvorson of Rock Creek; sons, 
	James L. of Waldport and Donald L. of Bothell, Wash.; sisters, Mary Baker of 
	Hockinson, Wash., and Doris Hanson of Eugene; nine grandchildren; and seven 
	great-grandchildren. 
	 Interment was in Skyline Memorial Gardens. The family suggests remembrances 
	to the church. Arrangements were by Skyline Funeral Home
