Mr. Richard Ruddick, 89, of Seymour passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013, at Covered Bridge Health Campus surrounded by his family.
Born October 26, 1923 in SeymourIN he was the son of Otis H. and Bertha (Prather) Ruddick.
On October 30 1939 he married Mary Barbara Weddle who preceded him in death March 1, 1992.  On February 27, 1993 he married Berneda Brougher Haines Ruddick who survives.

Mr. Ruddick was a member of HaydenUnitedMethodistChurch.  He retired from Cummins Engine Company after 31 years of service.  Mr. Ruddick enjoyed farming and engaged in that activity all his life. 

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Nancy E. King, daughter-in-law Margaret Ann Wade Ruddick, stepdaughter Linda (Jim) Beehler, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, sister Carol Beasley, and brother William (Verda) Ruddick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, son Thomas D. Ruddick, stepsons Larry Haines and Lloyd Wayne Haines, sister Helen Marie Ruddick, and an infant brother.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, August 21, from 4:00-8:00 PM.

A Graveside Service will take place Thursday at 11:00 AM at RiverviewCemetery with Rev. Ed Mead officiating.
