This morning just after 6:00 am - Rosa Katherine Cook Strader Jones passed away in her sleep.

She was born 12 Jan 1926 in Marysville, Nodaway Co., Mo. - the daughter of Floyd Cook and Ethel Hope Wampler Cook.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, two sons - Robert Dean Strader and John Edward Jones, and one infant; also 3 sisters and one brother, first husband Percy H. Strader in 1949 and her second husband, John (Jack) Thomas Jones Jr. in 2010. She was was also preceded in death by one grandson.

 She is survived by 2 sons. 3 daughtrers, one sister and numerous nieces, nephews, grand and great grand children. Rosa was a member of the DAR. She was be missed by all who knew her. Flowers can be sent to Parkers Funeral Home, Columbia, Mo. Services to be held at a later date.

The Funeral for Rosa will be just a family affair at Memorial Park Cem. - Tuesday at 11:00 am. Any donations can be made to Alzhimers in her name.
