Roy E. Shepherd age 86 of Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord Friday, March 23, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Shepherd was born February 24, 1926 to the late Walter Shepherd and Verdie Brewer. He lived most of his life in the Bristol area and worked for Specialty Supply. Mr. Shepherd was a US Army veteran during WWII serving in the European Theater, he is also a charter member of the former Fairmont Presbyterian Church.
Surviving Mr. Shepherd is his loving wife of 64 years Mildred E. Shepherd

Grandchildren: Amy Doss and husband John, Jon Oliver and wife Lisa
Two Great Grandchildren: Alicia Doss, Andrea Doss

A funeral service will be held Tuesday March 27th 2012 at 8:00 P.M. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Goforth and Rev. Scott Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 7:45 P.M. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday March 28th 2012 at Glenwood Cemetery.
