Obituary - Samuel E Chumley

Mr. Sam Chumley was born June 20th, 1858, at Nashville, Tenn., and departed this life September 17, 1934 at his home near Judsonia, Arkansas, at the age of 76 years, 2 months, and 27 days.
He was married to Miss Alice Campbell, March 1, 1882. She passed to the beyond April 30, 1934.
Both were united with the Christian Church at McRae, October 6, 1895, and both lived as faithful Christians until death. They were known by the lives they lived.
To this union were born eight children all of whom are living except one daughter Alice Bealer, who departed this life in infancy. Those who survive are five sones, Algar, Odie, Malcom, Kinider, and Lomy and two daughters Leola, and Ulemer.
There are twelve grandchildren living and one who has passed on.
Brother Chumley bore his suffering patiently. He was a kind father and grandfather, and he will be missed by many relatives and friends who will miss his kind words and smiles.
