Sebert Lee Jackson
BRAZIL - Sebert Lee Jackson, 63, of Indianapolis and formerly of Clay
County, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005. He worked for the State of Indiana
Department of Workforce Development Tax Administration, Special Projects.
He was born Jan. 7, 1942, in Clay County to Robert Lee Jackson and Eileen
Marie McKenzie Jackson. Survivors include his wife, Judy Ellis Jackson; one
son, Sebert Lee Jackson Jr.; one daughter, Deanna Lynn Jackson Kouns; four
stepchildren, Linda, John, Mike and Jim; two sisters, Suzette Raderstorf and
Shirley Shedron; four grandchildren; and 17 stepgrandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Sharon Marie Jackson.
He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Brownsburg. He loved the
outdoors and hunting.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday in Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center-Decatur,
in Indianapolis. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral center.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. Monday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley. Memorial
contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association; or to the
American Heart Association.
