Obituary - Stella M (Reynolds) Carr
Stella M. Carr, Westlake, Ohio, formerly of Defiance, Ohio, and Bedford,
died Sunday Ocotber 26, 2008, at the Lutheran Home in Westlake.
She was born Sept. 13, 1915, in Bedford, the daughter of Walter and Myrtle
(Justus) Reynolds. She married Garold H. Carr Sr. in 1938, and he preceded
her in death in 1988.
She worked as a nurses' aide in nursing homes in Indiana and also worked at
the Big Boy Restaurant in Defiance, Ohio.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Oberhaus, North Ridgeville, Ohio;
five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garold; her parents; two sons,
John L. and Garold H. Carr Jr.; one daughter, Beth Ann Carr; five brothers;
and four sisters.
Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cresthaven Memory
Gardens in Bedford where burial will follow.
