"Bub" Tennis passed away Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 24, 1958, in Terre Haute to Jerry and Florence Tennis. Bub worked for Lough Brothers Roofing and Siding and belonged to the Carpenter's Local Union.

He is survived by his wife, Kitty (Hughes) Tennis; daughter, Chasity Church (Bill); son, Johnie Henderson (Helen Shepard); grandchildren, McKenzie Church, Kambra Church, Austin Henderson, and Megan Henderson; and sister, Sheryle Tennis.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Chad Henderson; and sisters, Brenda Branson and Lauri Leslie.


Visitation will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, from 1 to 4 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Keith Taylor will be officiating.
