Chronicle, The (Centralia, WA) - Wednesday, September 1, 2004 Deceased Name: Teanie Mae Schmit Teanie Mae Schmit, died August 27, 2004. She was born May 2, 1919. She was a longtime resident of Napavine.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis Schmit and her son Allen Schmit. She loved her family and her music. Able to play the piano by age 4, it was her lifelong love to make music and sing for every-one. Her sense of humor was known by all and helped her throughout her life.
She played in many dance bands, the Melody Kings and the Senior Swingers. She could make people happy with her lovely outlook on things. She was a member of the Trinity Rebekahs in Napa-vine. She enjoyed her children and grand-children, always letting them take risks and enjoy life. She made them laugh and be happy.
She is missed by all that knew and loved her. Teanie lived happily at Sharon Care in Centralia and entertained them on the piano too. A son Randall Schmit and wife Shirley and a daughter Lois and hus-band Sam Rule, daughter-in-law Kay Schmit and their children and grand-children and great grand-children survive her. Also sisters-in-law Joyce Curtis and Edna Schmit and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Napavine Cemetery with Rev. Terry Sundberg and Trinity Rebekahs officiat-ing. A reception will follow at the Rebekah Hall in Napavine. Services are under the direction of Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock.
