Terry Haynes Brewer

Terry Haynes Brewer, age 62, of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 5, 1955 in Bristol, Va, a son of the late Dewey and Fairie Pairgin Brewer. Terry was a lifelong resident of the Abingdon area and retired from W.L. Construction. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Brewer.He is survived by his stepson, Charles Dishman; brothers, Anthony Brewer and wife Carol, Charlie Jessie Brewer and wife Debbie, and Billy Brewer; niece, Amy and children; and nephew, Andy.

The funeral service will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Ketron and Rev. Benny Bowman officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:45 p.m. prior to the service. The interment will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Odum Cemetery.
