THOMAS GOLDSBERRY

Thomas H. Goldsberry, one of the pioneer residents of the settlement near Killion's Mill, northeast of this city in Brown Township, known as Goldsberry Hollow, passed away early on Wednesday morning at the advanced age of eighty-two years. His parents were John and Sarah Goldsberry, and he was one of a large family of children.

Death came in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Blake, where he had made his home, for some time, and where he had been cared for during a lingering illness, due to senility. His wife has been dead a number of years.

Mr. Goldsberry was born in Martin county and spent his long life within is confines and was engaged in farming until his retirement a few years ago. The funeral will be held from the Welch church at 2:30 Friday afternoon.
