Obituary - William Harold Stine

Owner of Retail Shoe Store 

LAKELAND -- Mr. William "Harold" Stine of Lakeland died Monday (Dec. 25, 2000) at Lakeland Regional Memorial Center. He was 84. 

Born Feb. 11, 1916, in Vernon, Ind., he came here from Greenwood, Ind., 11 years ago. He owned a shoe store for 35 years in Indiana. He was a member of North Vernon Masonic Lodge 59 for 57 years and was a 32nd-degree Mason. He belonged to the Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Shrine and Elks Lodge 1291, Lakeland. He was a member of Community Church of Greenwood. 

He is survived by his wife, Gerry L. Stine; daughters, Gina M. Mammel, Lakeland, Teresa A. Trisler, Columbus, Ind.; sister, Ruth Walters, Franklin, Ind.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heath Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at Forest Lawn-Wilson-St. Pierre Funeral Home, Greenwood.
